  OK, All the Avatars are gone now. Is that good? How do I get them back? Computer stupid, yes?

 Your profile had the option "Don't show avatars" checked, you can do that to speed things up, fewer images to load.  I unchecked it, can you see them now?

   Thanks, Bobc. Any ideas as to why my avatar still doesn't show? All the others are there, but not mine. Do I have to re-enter it? Sorry to be a pain.

From the home page when I go to "forums" I get this URL

http://www.landracing.com/forum/

If I then select "show unread posts" It changes to this one

http://www.s394433980.onlinehome.us/landracing/forum/index.php?action=unreadreplies

and it says no unread posts. If I look under recentposts there are some.

Refreshing is of no help.

Mine was the same.  I used AdAware to kill off all of the minor spyware.  All is well with "new" again.

That big messy URL was a workaround to get people straight to the new site before the 'landracing.com' name propagated through the internet system.  I changed everything to how it should be, then found out that for some folks 'landracing.com' *still* didn't work.  So I changed things back, and that's why there are 2 URL's in play.  I should be able to set things right by now, I'll check with the folks that were having problems.

Hang on, the forum settings are still a bit in transition.  A few folks can't use the "landracing.com" url yet, so I have some settings which will let them in, but a few things (I think 'unread posts' is one) aren't working at the moment because of that.  Wait a day or 2 and I expect it'll be fixed.

I have tried to upload my avatar about ten times on 3 different computers - no workie for me!
