WATCH ESPN BONNEVILLE SHOOTOUT VIDEO RIGHT NOW!

ESPN2 will broadcast a 7 to 9 minute segment on Cook's Shootout this Sunday, November 6th at noon (EST). The piece will either be filler between shows at the top of the hour, or play as a segment within the NHRA drag racing coverage scheduled at noon.

I am awaiting details from the producer, but news is sketchy as they have suffered enormous power outages from severe weather -- should have asked after I completed the voice tracks for the piece in the studio earlier today. . . drat!

Just talked to Mike Cook it will be on ESPN 2 at 12 eastern 9 pacific Saturday Nov 5

OK folks. . . This is the final, fixed announcement!

The ESPN2 Cook Shootout coverage will be on Saturday, November 5th at noon, part of the NASCAR nationwide pre-race show.

Sorry for the confusion, working three states and three time zones. sigh!

Have been very interested in LSR for as long as I can remember. Went to my first dry lakes meet with Lynn Goodfellow in 1959 or 60. Went to school with Lynn and Dan Warner so I was caught up in the whole So. Cal. scene of the '60's. I built a few cars of my own but just do small racing projects now. Would love to take something to B-ville someday ( I haven't run there since 1975)
but I really don't think that will happen. I get pleasure keeping up with everything going on with the lakes and B-ville.
