Here's more news, folks. I hear that the Rice brothers, a/k/a Chronologic Timing, will be running a small FM radio broadcast station at the Shootout. I haven't talked with them yet - they aren't hear, and I heard the story from Mike Cook - but I'll try to get the audio hooked up with our internet streaming thingamajig so you can listen to the stuff from the Shootout.
Remember -- the Shootout is usually hours of boring nothing - with the occasional frantic run lasting five minutes. It's not something that you'll have on all the time at the office, although all the time while you're in the shop might be great.
We also intend to have Brian Leckey's crew producing video feature-ettes for the evening news and the local home tv stations of the competitors and so on. Those feature clips will be available, if all goes right, here on landracing.com. We will have a link to wherever we store them - so you can watch them in your own time frame.
