I finally got to the point where I can post.  It was a short night after a long day followed by an early morning.  But.  We're set up, mostly unloaded and I'm about to go to tech.

Here are some photos: drivers meeting.

Bob Ross' GMC Canyon and Jim Halladay's Chevy Colorado pickups (130 Club)

My Monte Carlo (also 130 Club) and

The Salt Cat team in impound with the Henry-Head lakester that ran 206 on its maiden voyage on a 160-ish record.  Way to go, guys!

These daily webcasts will be archived on Meridix, available for those not tuning in live to listen to whenever they want.

Jon, sounds good in Beerhaven - and if you're within a 2 square block area in Walkers Point, you can pick up the broadcast on my little one-lung, .02 watt transmitter at 169.505 mhz.

That's right - I'm relaying the broadcast - just don't tell the FCC.

Any possibility of some ambient sound?

Moxnix, Jon, you could probably bump the ambient mic up a tad.

Yeah, I know, it's easy to mix a show from 1500 miles away.

Well done, guys!

Trent, I think they are running XXO/BGL
With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine. However, this is not necessarily a good idea. It is hard to be sure where they are going to land, and it could be dangerous sitting under them as they fly overhead. -- RFC 1925

Chris, we don't have a directional pickup for the cars and bikes as they run past the pits.  Something to work on, eh?  We got a slow start this a.m., the same glitch that slowed our first webcast last year.  We keep learning and have a few things on the list for next year.

Pale as it may in comparison to streaming Audio, here are some photos:

I'm still having rocker arm problems.  Maybe with some silly putty and baling wire....

Gary Spencer's Camaro

Somebody else with problems...his Buell died whenever he put it into gear

And for my El Camino friends, "Peggy's Pickup" running in AA/CPro.

Actually, an omnidirectional mic would be best - less wind buffeting and a more accurate representation of what's going on around you.

I can dig one up.

Again - well done.
