10.26AM and Mark Deluca has just left the line -- the first return run today.  Ran 231.475 on a 217.303 record, new average 224,953.

It's sprinkling here at the line - enough that I've gotta use the wipers every two or three minutes.  We're first in line for qualifying.  Charles Reno is right in front of us - the last return run of this morning.

John Stege's La Poderosa (no "N") is leaving the line.  223.470  and 223.688 first and second mile yesterday.  222.956 in the middle mile right now.

223.595 is his new record speed.  The rain continues.

Bike 826 is next, running on a 215.433 record.  I'm waiting to hear what he ran yesterday.  216.896 yesterday's qualifier.

Today:  Sounding strong at the 1 1/2, quarter mile 219.208, mile 220.596, middle mile 218.998, last mile not reported.  (post)

Other stuff:  Yesterday Charles Reno ran a 249 - which is decent, but he's running against a 250 minimum.  The rain oughta be helping the course -- since it's been so dry the salt is hard and "dusty", so some rain should help solidify things.

Sorry -- got busy talking with Ron Main.  While I was busy -- Rhonnie Vesco ran the 444 car to a new 310 record.  Nice -- blue hat for her.  Tegan Hammond is in the return run line, too -- we're seeing a shootout for fast woman of the meet.  Great stuff :-D :-D

It's just before 11AM.  The rain is pretty well stopped - just a few drops showing up on the windshield.  The 6666 Opel just left the line, still running the return runs.

195.465 first mile, middle mile 201.505, last mile 201.941, (Gail Phillip's 202.098 record, by the way) nope -- not quite good enough by about .15 mph.  CRAP! :x

Skip Hedrick just ran -- chute out before the 2, turned to the right, all's okay.
