Does the 120 include the 85?

Stan:  No.  I'll go fix my post to make it more clearly clearer so you don't misunderstand so unclearly.

We're just ending a quick hold to look for the video camera from Stainless' Bockscar.  It was searched for, sought, and seeked -- and can't be found, so we're getting ready to resume running.  Stewards are back in position to resume.

120 or so registered land speed racers, plus about 85 130 Club cars (per Ron on the radio) at this event.

At least I found my phone..

My contribution to ambient background sounds includes car doors closing and a sneeze.

We're in line for the long course, and things aren't mocing fast, so I'll post a few photos from the pits and so on, then go take photos of who's in line.  Sime of these photos might be repeats -- sorry.

I don't know if the mnemonic is visible here -- but it's from Stainless and John - - trying to help Nancy get her tuck as good as possible.  Look on the bottom of the display/dashboard.  If it isn't on the photo -- it;ll be on one later here:

Here's a pair of 'em of me and the Red Rover pit bike.  Keep it in mind -- it might be auctioned off later this year.

Malcolm Pittwood and me at Salt Talks II last night:

Starter Bo Burkdoll

Enough for now.  Greg Waters and bike/entourage just drove past in the short course line, so I'll go wandering with the camera and get some photos.  C U soon.

Try going to Meridix, on their link for fans there is a support botton on the top of the page.  The support page, scroll down to the hints for Firefox and Mac OS.  They tell you what players you might need.

Thanks for the tip. Seems that since last year they have had some upgrades that needed to be uploaded on the Mac from Meridix.

If any one is having trouble with their Mac receiving the audio feed, just go to: http://www.meridix.com/support/ and follow the instruction to update your system.

Audio comes in great. Thank you very much for all of your efforts

Richard Assen is in line right behind us -- not Greg Watters as I earlier said.  They're here for some test and tune before the Shootout next week.  As for DeLuca -- he's up ahead, no sign of Steve Knecum.  Jon Minnono made a run about an hour ago and turned out at the three and a half - no word from him yet why he did that.

I'll see if I can get some stories for you, Joe.  In the meantime -- here are a few dozen photos of who's in line at Thursday noontime at the 2011 World of Speed:

There -- that oughta keep you busy for a while.  By the way--most of the photos I've been taking are medium size files (1-2Mb) - so you can get decent quality if you want it.  If you need to see them as links in stead of just here -- you're welcome to go to www.photobucket.com and then the Seldom Seen Slim page(s), and finally scroll down to the World of Speed 2011 album.  It's open to the public - and there you can grab the images directly.  Help yourself.

By the way -- these threee dozen or so vehicles were the ones in front of Nancy and me in line.  There's another dozen or so behind us already.  At the rate the line is moving -- we've been here for two hours ++ and have at least another hour or two to wait before we run.
