T.G.I.F. Pic - Pictures from the Salt
« Reply #75 on: September 09, 2011, 11:04:54 AM »

Staging and start line for long course #1, Bonneville Salt Flats. Not necessarily or particularly artistic but tries to capture a bit of the everything that goes on. Shot 16th August 2011 during Speed Week by Jim Kelsall on a Canon PowerShot G10.

Nah, there were folks looking for more non-sunrise, non-sunset pics, plus I don't have Photoshop...I prefer to use whatever the camera gave me (this B&W with colour select enhance) is one of it's inbuilt effects. As you might have seen, will most likely continue to see, this crops up a lot in my pictures.

Folks, please keep the great pictures coming. I like what I see and the LSR subject matter is the best part. Cheers & thanks. Jim

.....or BAD!

Enhancement frequently screws up the simplicity that we all love.

Do you enhance your vanilla ice cream with vinegar?

Don't make B'ville artificial.

That picture of Jack and Cliff says so much about LSR, will aways be one of my favorites.
