AND it's in good taste

..AND I've got a great arse.......................he he

Well I see this tasteful thread went down the toilet...

Glad to see you on a running bike Octane. Congrats on the two records this year at Bonneville! Was the above at Speed Week 2011 or BUB 2011?

Jim

From the looks of the pickup and bike, and being shot in black and white I would guess Speedweek around 1964. :-D

Murph of "Wherethehellismurph" blogosphere fame just posted some pretty darned amazing pics from BUB and was kind enough to grant permission for me to repost the odd one and link here. As a busy man, despite a landracing.com log-in, alas he doesn't have the time. If you haven't checked out his travelogue blog, you can find it here: http://www.wherethehellismurph.blogspot.com/

Thanks Murph. I wish you safe travels.

SharpFang, the aerial view was a Rick Byrnes photo taken - oh - about 3 - 4 years ago, I think.  I have it on our personal website - and don't have the date appended thereto, but it's about that age.  I think others here will be ble to give you more information.  I know one of "us" reports that the group of vehicles at the 3 mile or so includes him picking up pieces after a windshield (I think it was) incident.  If he remembers that -- he might remember the date.

Mr. Kimura's creations are really something to behold in real life. You could study them for hours and not see all of the intricate design details. http://www.chabottengineering.com/

Get off the stove Grandad.  You're too old to be riding the range.

The pictures should be somewhat artistic (in the beholder's eye) and in good taste...

This pic is artistic simply because it's in black and white.
Anything in black and white IS artictic...ha ha.

AND it's in good taste
