Lynda,
Thank you for saving us when we ran out of gas.
We were in impound that mourning, made our record run, tore the bike down for inspection, put it back together, changed classes, made a qualifying run, put it back in impound, serviced the bike and was driving the recovery vehicle to get fuel when we ran out of gas.
It was 3 o'clock and we had not even taken time to eat, so we were a little on the ragged edge.
Also a thanks to Wayno and Dr Goggles for returning your gas can for us.

Thanks again, Don

She saved more than one of us, she helped connect me with a ride from one of her people to get a flat tire fixed too.
Special thanks to Gina for the tire shuttle service!

You're both more than welcome!  It's part of my job (I wrote that into the job description myself) to help you guys any way I can, you have enough to do without having to worry about those "little things".  Glad I could help out!

If your talking doorslammers then the trackmaster should be taken out.  And blow fish with it's highly modified front end is pretty fishy. :-D. The rest are accurate.    Rains was very close, I believe he went 299 and change, but unofficially was probably over 300.  There was one other car very close but I always forget who he was, he ran a firebird also and spun it back in the late 80's to early 90's.

At WOS in 2006, Rains went last mile 299.923 in the last mile with a 303.244 exit speed.  I remember 'watching' that on a thread.

Folks,

I'm well back home in Germany....well?....yeah....well done....had some hour sleep after I arrived and now it's time for this note.

Hope you all had a safe trip home, too.

Also: Sheri, I done Willie to the 200 Mile Club banquet.....he had from the T-Shirt a straight view to the stage......sorry, I never catch  you on the starting line on course 3.....
missed you twice....only seeing your rear tire and the other times I saw you only from fare away.

Sparky, thank you very much to invite my into the 200 Mile Club, so that I could follow the start of the 400 chapter.....the same to you....unfortunately the salt is so big,
it is though to find someone for a smalltalk or just so.....thanks again.

See you all at the World of Speed.

meanwhile have fun

Why would you exclude Blowfish Troy?  It is a legal Comp Coupe.

I clicked on your internet link  (Oneliterlandspeed.com) Is there more to it than a liter conversion site?

This is an intro to new technology.  Some of you may have noticed me filming at the 2 club.  This is a test for what may be the intro of new capabilities.

All coupes and sedans are equal.  Some are more equal than others.

Don't do like me -- make sure you spell the URL as "litehouse", not "lighthouse".

But even then I don't see a place to click that's labeled "digital signage".  What'd I do wrong?
