The S&S rule depends on if it's the brand of engine in a manufacturing run.

If it is the bike he has ran in the past, it is a custom aftermarket chassis, not a Big Dog or something OE.

There was another bike last year that ran an S&S engine and got a certified record in MPS-PBG that wasn't an OE chassis.

I wouldn't be that lucky if I tried.

I am still among the living.  Nancy has made a few runs in the past two days -- and the bike is stuck at about 190.  I'm gonna suit up and go for a ride on the long course in a little while to see if I can urge the scooter to scoot a bit faster.  I'll be back here again with more stories later.

Jon, how is the traction? Do you have ballast in the arm?

Word through social media is James Height rode his motorcycle into the 2 club today.  I know he had his turbo 650 and 750 out there.  Wish I knew more.

Skip Hedrich's American Eagle did not make it. They ran out of time in finishing rebuilding the entire rear half of the car with a new engine and all of the things that go with that. He will be at the USFRA if all goes well over the next couple of weeks.
Thanks

Shane, we have nothing special in the swingarm.  I made that run an hour ago, like I sorta promised, and did a 196++ best mile, with all three of 'em in the 194 - 196 range.  I had a pleasant ride -- easy enough that I could spend time moving around looking for results from a different tuck, different fore-to-aft position, and so on.  I spun the tire for three or four seconds at the 3 1/2 - 3 3/4 because I was scrunched up front trying to get my head into the bubble.  I saw the spinning (no fishtailing, just spinning wheel) and pedaled it a tiny bit and moved back -- and got it back under control and rode my fastest in that last mile.

But I've therefore decided I could use some weight back there and maybe one less tooth on the rear sprocket.  Maybe the sprocket change will happen tonight -- maybe before WoS.  The swingarm weight won't happen 'til WoS for sure.

Very good, Jon! Always nice to know a direction to go when looking for improvement!  :-)

Also, a big thanks to you, Ray, and all of those providing updates and photos!  :-)

Rosie Lackey had a great Speedweek putting the British Only.com 750 MPS-PBF Triumph in Impound 4 days in a row, and bumping the record every morning.  Starting out on an old 140 MPH record he pushed it up the record all the way up to 158.6 on his last pass , with a best run of 163 earlier in the week.

So... how did the worlds first 2 cylinder blown fuel comp coupe do on its return run? I need to check out the video I shot of that first run.  My batteries were dying out but I am fairly sure I caught some of that fine sounding machinery!  I just got back today after hanging out and trying to help where i could with Casper. the '56 vette, on its debut which resulted in a pair of 197 mph runs by the end of their week!

I saw in the SCTA record results that the Gus Gus Streamliner got Fabio Montani in the three club yesterday.  Freud says they requalified at 303 today.  Quite a car.  Helluva job for someone building it in, and hauling it from, Italy.

probly need a bigger rear gear on the back wheel.
couldn't tell how far down the track  he took it.

a nice kid from new york had a diesel water pump construction engine
in a bike at loring this year.his goal was 50 mph. topped out at about 56 (?).
musta been about 60 some rear gear teeth.

that diesel motor at limestone was running some type of corn oil- out of a sealed
container ( from the grocery store).
