Bonneville 2010 photos on the ChevyAsylum
« on: November 04, 2010, 10:47:33 PM »
Well, I'm mostly there.  I've got photos from all events on the server:
http://www.chevyasylum.com/lsr/bsf2010/Welcome.html

This includes the story of the City of Salt Lake streamliner restoration - an 8-part section that shows how Butch Graham restored the liner in which his father was killed in 1960.  I started shooting it in April and finished up with photos of the car on the salt at SW and WoS.

There's also the testing of the BYU Electric Blue liner at Miller Motorsports Park and a private session with Ohio State's Buckeye Bullet (the original, with batteries rather than hydrogen fuel cells) and a stock car team from Brazil trying to get over 200 mph.

For the other events, there's a "Quick Pix" section.  I haven't done "The Rest" sections.  I'll be working on that over the off season...when we're not working on my race car...a 130 Club car that otta be significantly faster than the Chevy Colorado that Texican and I ran this past year.  There are photos of the little truck in the WoS section.

I think that covers it: SW, BUB, WoS, Shootout and WF...as well as the others.  If ya find glaring errors, let me know so I can correct 'em.

Enjoy,

Ray, a lot of the time you seem to be with a camera, at the right location, at the best time.  These are some good photos.
