I am looking for a part that prevents the throttle cable from moving back and fourth through the firewall, meaning when you mash the gas pedal down, it prevents the cable from sliding back and fourth causing chafing.
Any ideas?

Split shaft collers. Look into Grainger or McMaster Carr for them.
