FIA/FIM Meet
« on: September 17, 2008, 07:23:55 PM »
Any idea who is going to the special FIA/FIM meet next week? For sure I know Ack from the two wheeled side and I believe Burkland and Poteet/Main. Should be a dandy if everyone shows.

Mike Cook says that spectators are welcome there will be a nominal charge to help cover cost.  There will be someone at the end of the road who will direct you to the proper area.

Five cars:

Burklands  411

Nish  998

Ron Main/George Potee  Speed Demon

Buckeye Bullet

Lee Goodfellow: Morman Missle
Duramax Diesel great new car could give JBC a run for the money.

Three bikes:

EZ Hook

Top 1 Ack Attack

Leo Hess Full blast Engineering:
180 inch billet V twin nitro burning streamliner. Easy Rider Body Vesco frame sponsored by Kuryakyn.
I love the smell of nitro in the morning.

Mike Cook told me this morning that spectators are welcome and there will be no charge to watch the event.

Is there a reason the Bub 7 is not on the list?

I don't see a conflict in Chris's GNC schedule.  :?

I've heard speculation on why #7 won't be there -- everything from Chris being busy (discussed above) to Denis feeling that he's got the fastest bike and wants to let others tip their hands before turning it loose and putting down thebig numbers.

Take a number, state your guess.
