For NHRA, if you keep you battery in the stock location, you do not need a cutoff switch. Mine is under the hood on the passenger side as it came from the factory. I am not opposed to doing a switch again, but I was not pleased with it on the last car and did not like the look where I had it. If I were forced to do it, I would think about it a little harder this time.
