I'm told the engine is a Triumph T100 500cc. The top speed might around 125mph? Tim Rochlitzer might have more info according to Denis. I have a few more photos that I took when we went to the Buelton Gas Up in 2007.

Eric,
The photos give me a new perspective on this "car". I dont think it is 7 feet long by 3 feet wide. The body is a classic old school race car but it is more of a go kart then a car. Does anyone know what the chassis looks like?

I think it's a monocoque chassis. I recall years ago there was one on the salt  and was not allowed to run after that year due to the construction and speed it was running. Over 175 MPH.

Here is an insert from " The Second Symposium of Aerodynamics  of Sports & Competition Cars 1974 ISBN 0-87938-028-4" that seems to answer the question- Eric

After looking at the last photo posted I was wrong about the length. I doubt it is 6 feet long. It is smaller then a go kart, more the size of a roller skate. It is proportionally perfect. It is a scaled down (1/2 size) out time streamliner.
