Seems Guy Lombardo used to race boats - yes, THAT Guy Lombardo - actually held a hydrofoil record back in the '40's - BUT -

Directly below the Popular Science article, in the December 1959 issue, is a pretty darned cool article about the Challenger I.

There was a Guy Lombardo that raced a BUZA back in 2007 WOS, I think he was a doctor, real nice Guy, uh, er, dude. I was teching him and when I looked at the name on the log book, I had to ask if he had done any movies lately.   :-)
