As long as we're talking about hackosity -- I got one purportedly from Wayne Yeats.  The hackers are having a fine time, right?  Yesterday's was a big deal -- my Verizon bill - - said I owed (ready for this?) $1738 and change.  I sent it along to Verizon's customer service and got a nicely written message from a human, not a machine.  And that human used English like it was his native language.  And that human told me that no, I didn't owe $1700++.

OK. I changed my password. Let's see if that does it. I got three spam messages from Paul Kelly earlier. I'll call him. Thanx. Wayno

hmmm, we have three famous Paul Kellys here.....a national political commentator( apparently the best known in a survey on the subject) followed by the former captain of the Sydney Swans football club and then in third place national icon singer songwriter Paul Kelly...he's great...this song has become a kind of Christmas song here, it's a letter from a guy in jail to his family with instructions on how to make the gravy for the Christmas roast.....and includes the magic line "Roger, I'll even miss Roger coz there's sure as he1l no-one in here I wanna fight"

If you have been hacked - Do you have a facebook page?... If so, have you clicked on a link - usually to something called an "app"...  that says something like use facebook log in information (or something to that effect)?....

'Cuz - when you do - THEY GET YOUR INFORMATION!

I NO LONGER fall for that little scam - it happened to me twice..... heckuvit is though, when it comes from one of your friends, you just "believe" it's legit.... none of my friends send that stuff out though.... now, if and when I get one, I generally take a screen shot of the page and send it to the friend and suggest that he or she has been hacked as "he or she" has "sent" this to me.....

Just so as you know how it is possible....

I have gotten two from "Dan Warner", one about a year ago and another about three weeks ago.
Dan I apologize for being to lazy to contact you about either one.             Bob

Wayno - Since I stopped clicking on ANY of the stuff on f/b, I have not been hacked again.... OH and BTW, I no longer have the same password for f/b that I have for ANY of my email accounts....
