How much methanol?

Greetings group: Would any of you know how much methanol a 118 cubic inch Harley will burn making a pass on the short course. want to make sure tank is big enough. Thanks---Turk

Just under one gallon...build the tank larger and make sure you do not run too low..build the tank over two gallons  :cheers:

80 cu in sportster engine used 1/2 of a gallon of methanol on each pass at Bub's last year. We towed to the starting line at mile 0 and from the end mile 4. Running S&S D alcohol carb.

Thanks fellers,got a 3 gal mustang ,so should be ok.will run 2 s#s 2 1/8 D's.  Another ? what is the best oil for methanol?

The same one you used when you ran Nitro at the drags.... OH, they don't make that any more.... Brad Penn would be a good choice, that is the one Max uses.
