Oh yeah, one more thing.
John is working on the valving so that we can use pulse width modulation to apply first gear while using a converter eliminator.
This will let us pull out from a dead stop at Maxton without a push truck. Not a hard launch of course but it won't stall when we put it in gear.
We currently can pull timing for up to .9 sec directly after a shift is made to soften the shift and prevent tire spin.
We are also talking about using PWM to soften the shifts.
Now that the hardware is working great, we can continue to add new software features and it's really not that big a deal.
It's been a lot of fun to help him with the development.
