According to a buddy of mine in Daytona, S&S only bought all the motorcycle products and the machinery that makes them. A company called Triton Industries bought the Crane name and all the car products and machinery that makes them. The bldg doesnt go with it and will be sold sperately, so they will take a while to find one and get going again. Chase Knight who worked for Crane for 40 years will be part of the new management team for Triton back at his old salary I guess. at least not at minimum wage that the other company that held the job fair offered. Second hand story, cant vouch that all is correct but thats what I was told a few minutes ago. Job wise at least things are looking up for all the old employees. Triton supposedly made a ton of money building stuff for our fine friends in Brunai {?}Saudi Arabia. I also heard that in 10 days the Pontiac Motor Division will cease to exist
