Woz - great thread and great video.

Any viewers out there with home videos of the Phoenix, or pictures different from the same ones we see on the web, please post here for all of us to enjoy.

Are we really sure the frame needs to be replaced?  I have dreams of project "Phoenix 300" and I know all of you do too.

Yes, the frame needs replacing. Another problem is that the family doesn't have the sponsors that Carl had.  Carl was a fantastic promoter and was able to take the time needed to find investors.  His children don't have that luxury, they have their own families to support.  They were talking about bringing her back, but because of the extensive rebuild that is required, they have been unable to fulfill that particular dream.

I have some pictures of the Phoenix at Black Rock Nevada in 97. They stopped by to see the ThrustSSC it was neat to see it there. One amazing machine I will get them posted once I get them dug out of my file
