World Finals a happening thing..... or not???
« on: September 05, 2009, 07:33:36 PM »
Folks,

Being somewhat under the influence of our life style here in North Tijuana, we tend to miss things now and then.  Now I have URL'd and mouse'd, and spewed thousands (jillions??) of bits out across the Internet in an attempt to find an entry form for 2009 World Finals.  You know the event I mean, right?... the one that's kind of like a white El Mirage - 80, 90, 100 cars.... DA's BELOW ground level.....the one where you put your fire suit on in the hotel room.... and leave it on all day... (not to mention you can GET a hotel room)... the casinos don't even notice... heck no one notices... you can just go there and race....

Yeah that one.

Sooo... WF   On/Off??  Yes/No??

Try the SCTA web site.  They now have entry forms to print out.
Get off the stove Grandad.  You're too old to be riding the range.

Thanks,

Silly me, I was looking under "Bonneville" on the left hand side, and the "World Finals" in the Pull Down.  Didn't see the thingie right in front of me.  Probably distracted by the pic of my trophy girl friend modeling her new hat.

Bite your tongue!!   :-o  Getting too close for everyone to be using the "R" word...I prefer you refer to it as clear snow!   :-D   Besides, I've already got my crew ready, made arrangements to leave my buddy, and be there for all of you!!  SO, no more negative thoughts, please!!  Let's keep those positive attitudes going until ALL of the events left for this year are complete!!

I was just thankfull that if it had to ---- that it did it that day and not later.  Gas was 4 bucks a gallon and I could have spent two grand to take pictures of Lake Bonneville.
I am busy trying to get my act together for the WF as we speak and it sure seems remenicent of July..............
