USFRA Event Gas ?
« on: May 30, 2008, 10:43:27 PM »
Will there be event gas on site in September for the USFRA event?  If so what kind will be available ?

Are we required to run event gas ?

Thanks

ERC has provided the gas at WOS for as long as I can remember. I certainly hope Rick will be there again this year.

Cajun, you don't have to run ERC... if you run fuel class...  :|
Rick has a variety of great gas class products.  If you can't find the one that is right for you, you probably should be running fuel.

I think Rick drags the trailer out in August and back in October

Look them up online.

Not the European Resources Council, not the European Rugby Cup -- just to make sure you go to the correct ERC.

Thanks all, Slim thanks for the link... Look like ERC will have exactly what I need.  Here in NC I use Sunoco Rave Fuels and the 116 Maximal is the one of choice.  ERC has a leaded race gas that will work.
Thanks again.

Oh I was just looking at the 130MPH and 150MPH Club rules, it does not stipulate gas/fuel type or "event gas"  either.  Looks like there are no actual classes in these two deals, just safety and tech rules? just a run for fun and qualify for each club.

I would assume in those 2 venues that I can just use whatever ERC has brought ?

For the 130 and 150 club you can run whatever fuel you want however the vehicle will have to pass a minor saftey check and in the 150 club the requirements are a bit more  restrictive however still nother like running an SCTA/BNI meet.

Jon W can give you better information I am sure.

Run whatever gasoline you want ..... no N2O, no nitro, no alcohol.
Big fun ...... minimun bucks ..... perfect for a first-timer.
Don't miss it.

Here're links to the 130 and 150 Club rules:

The Tech sheet is available as a .pdf -- didn't care to copy it here, but it's there for your reference -- go to www.saltflats.com and scroll down 'til you see the link to it in a box on the right side column.
