Has anyone said what the conditions are at the bend in the road?    :-D

According to SSS's itinerary he should have made landfall at the bend late today. I'm sure his second order of business is checking out the bend for all the campers and of course Salt Talks next Sunday. :mrgreen:

I was told by a reliable source that the Bend in the road is DRY. No water there.
She had stopped there for her dogs potty break.

Unfortunately for camping info but very fortunate for racing, they are out on the salt setting up courses.
Limited Internet access..limited info. We do have on good account that the bend is bonfide tera firma and camping/Salt Talks should be no problem

Confirmed. Bend in the Road is Dry, Campers already present and more assembling.... Sky is clear, no clouds, temperature is hitting 90 degrees, 2 courses still in play. as of 8/8/07 10:18 EST
