« on: July 21, 2024, 04:59:07 PM »
Thanks to everyone who made the event possible.
Very well run and the weather was great.
Made the trip back to New Jersey without any problems.
When resistration opens up for next year check the box for both the Maine and Harvest events

All the best
Carol and Ed

Just got back, myself.  Pushrod Tom let me ride his A65 BSA (650 M-PG) to a new record of 136.8 mph.  The Loring Maine Event is the best kept secret east of the Mississippi! And I thank Tim, Joe, Tom, and all the volunteers that help to put on this event.

Where else except Bonneville can you go to see, for example, a 57 mph Model T, a 201 mph Miata, a 2003 mph Tesla (at the one mile lights) as well as several 200-258 mph vehicles at the same event?

Our team had a great time once again.  Our Ford flathead power roadster hit 199 MPH in fourth gear with still one more gear to go 1.5 mile mark. We are now ready to head to Speedweek. Having the Maine event prior to Speedweek is great our testing results will help greatly on the salt.
Thanks to Joe, Tim, Tom and everyone else who helps put on such a great event.

Impressive results.  Looks like Gilles Chiasson put down a 260 mph run at the 1 mile on his MPS/BF 3000 to Ron Keslowski's 255 at the 1.5 mile, unless I missed one.

Gilles ran a 260 in the mile (fastest speed for bikes) and Ron put down a 261 at the 1.5 mile earlier in the day.
