costella nebulous theorem IV
« on: May 26, 2024, 12:20:35 AM »
Looking for info and/or photos of the Nebulous Theorem IV. Already been on the net and Jacks site, not a whole lot out there. So hoping there is something here. Any shots of it without the body, dimensions (length?) etc. Saw a photo of it at a GoodGuys show with two of his other cars but couldn't find out where or when. Where is it now? Thanks.

Some of these pages on this site no longer appears to be active:
http://www.yacoucci.com/gallery/album85/aug15_26

But the site has been archived and you can click back and forward through the pages and view some different capture dates.

It looks like some pages might be missing here, and perhaps not enough detail for you, but you should be able to find pictures like this one:

Here's a shot of 5050 during the build.
Jack lived (worked) a couple miles from my place. He taught me to fiberglass and to not let the wind see ya.

I thought the idea was "To Go Under the Air" rather than thru it.  Made sense to me.

Here's another shot that shows length a little better.

I'd bet on it being the lowest aero drag machine ever on the salt. It led, if I remember, to a rule change for motorcycles having to be able to lean a certain angle. Am I right about that?

I don't know if 5050 caused the 20 degree lean capability rule but that's why I went with a sidecar on 1227B.
Flat, low bottom.
Upon review of that rule it looks like it is streamliner specific. 1227B is not a streamliner. oh well. SC makes a little and low vehicle more stable (maybe) :)
