The SCTA-BNI site shows the new books are available. I've received my membership and the note from Chuck concerning available numbers, but I'm wondering if anyone has received their rulebook yet.
-
Yup, still camped out at my mailbox.
-
I got mine at my club meeting (Milers) a few weeks ago and they were available at the USFRA meeting last night. Wayno
-
I have mine.
DW
-
Yes dan, but did it come in the mail or was it handed to you! :-D

I ordered The Book online as usual, had it in a week or so as usual.
The SCTA is pretty efficient, IMHO,FWIW, YMMV, LOLL
-
Bummer, I paid for mine at teh end of January.

I have mine.

It's a long Winter here in Montana, We're doing a lot of Budweiser engineering on Salt Cat ll while we wait for the new book. Still have to go back to Salt Cat l and take care of the window film/Lexan debacle.

Hey, hey, HEY! JoAnn Carlson, the SCTA secretary and lady that really runs the entire thing (well, sorta) sent a note today telling me that the rule books will be mailed to all BNI members beginning the week of 21 March 2011. That's two weeks from today that the mailing will start. I don't know if they all go out in one day or if they leave in batches through a couple of days. But 21 March is when the start getting mailed.
SCTA members (of the various SCTA clubs) should have already been given their copies at the regular meetings of each club. There -- that's maybe the reason why some folks have theirs already and the rest of us don't.
And - by thee way -- I've posted this same information on the home page of this site, for those who don't make it to the Forum. If you should read this and see the home page -- it's not your aging eyes, and it's not different information -- just me trying to tell as many as possible that it's time to stop whining about your lack of 2011 rulebook.
Ciao -
There -- is that better? I changed the date in the beginning to show that you'll be getting the '11 books, not the '01 book as it said before. Thanks, 4BBL Mike for the jerk of my chain.
-
Thanks Jon, getting cold by the mailbox!
-
Got my 2011 rule books that I ordered in the mail today haven't gotten the one that comes with my membership yet.

Mailman just laughs at me as he drives by....................................
-
John,
If you look in your new rulebook you will see that Don Vesco holds the class record at a SCTA meet. See the Corvette thread.
DW
-
They must have sent mine out Via slow donkey..................still no rulebook.
-
TMAN, maybe it went to Hermosa Beach in Calif.
-
Maybe mine went to Columbus Ohio, 'cause there's still nothing here in Columbus Mt.
Doug
-
The only Rulebook in Columbus, OH flew in with Ed Safarik yesterday. Boy is that cover Orange!
-

The thought had occured to me.
Sold a bike once, guy got all exited until he realized SD meant South Dakota and NOT San Diego and he got a $100 shipping quote.

Hey Doug;
The mail truck stops in Vegas to gamble, dodges the carrot snappers in Utah, slides around on the mashed potatoes in Idaho, then has to wade through the sheep herds in Montana, just consider yourself lucky that it doesn't go through Wyoming were it has to use the pony express. They're not into Idaho yet either.

Left a message for JoAnn and she called me back. The books did not go out until THIS week. We should see them shortly
-
Thanks for the update, Tman. I'll quit rushing home from work until next week.
-
I hope that you are right, I have been waiting for over 6 weeks!
-
Got mine today
-
Still waiting for mine is good ole Southern California :?
-
Nothing here as of the 5th
-
As an advertiser I was certain that I would receive one by now, I have received ours from our club.
-
We got one rulebook last weekend. I don't know (even from reading the enclosed sheet of information) if that was one for our membership in BNI - or if it's the one for advertising in the book. John, when you get yours - see if you can figure out which is which.
-
I ordered two rule books off of the SCTA website almost 7 weeks ago and still nothing!
Starting to get a little nervous.......
-
There is one person doing the mailing along with running the office. You will get them shortly.
Remember all of SCTA/BNI are volunteers and donate their time to make everything happen.

JoAnn said they went out BULK. My money is on USPS screwing things up not the SCTA.

SCTA is ahead of our Federal Gov. :-D
-
I got mine at the Sidewinders meeting last Tuesday night!!
-
I got mine several weeks ago, but I ordered one directly.
The one that's coming with my membership renewal "package" isn't here yet.
It worked that way for me last year as well, the book I ordered showed up well before the membership stuff did.
-
Mine just arrived today - up here in the Great White North. :-)
-
Still nothing in Beerhaven. I've received other BNI membership letters, but no rulebook yet.
-
Nothing here yet as well. :?
-
Just got off the phone with Joann. The books went out to the bulk mailer over two weeks ago. She has a call in to them to see if there was a delay or if it is USPS issues. The ball was dropped somewhere down the line after her. She is looking into it.
-
I ordered mine direct, and they were post marked March 21. Maybe the book orders went out before the membership ones?
-
Got my BNI issued book yesterday, no post mark because of bulk mailing.
DW
-
Looks like the books that were ordered separately, and not shipped bulk, went out first. :-D
-
I havent checked the mail today, but it usually takes a few days longer to the backwoods of Texas. :-D
-

I need to order a couple extras anyway.............which ones will show first? But $7+ dollars for shipping? You can drop that in a free priority envelope for under 6 and get better service yet!?!?!?!
Joann did say she is going to sugggest a better mailing option to teh board for next year. The vibe I got is she was fielding quite a few calls over missing rulebooks. Must be frustrating for sure.
-
Trent, if it helps, that $7.62 was for 2 books...

Thats better!
-
Got my 3 extra books a week or two ago. Got my BNI issued one yesterday or the day before.
Hang tight guys. They are coming.
-
The one I am waiting on is for the throne reading :-D
-
My throne copy landed today............ harder to use than the old Sears Roebuck catalog though..........
-
Blame the USPS, mine was in the box today and I called Joann to end her day with a thank you!
-
Theu reached San Mateo today
-
Rule books are infecting Cincinnati area now!
-
Bob
I had a bushel of dry Iowa corn cobs sent to you. Freud split the postage and sent directions on how to use.

-
Still waiting in Kansas :|
Bob, after you use the cobs, please return them to Glen for recycling :-D
-
Stainless, one of the door prizes for salt talks
-
Made it to Colorado Thursday
-
The books arrived today in Skandia, Michigan (that's way up north).
PS Glen, if we try to give the used corn cobs away at Salt Talks -- how 'bout if I make sure everyone knows that you were the originating donor, okay?
-
Seems that they are fanning their way East - Mine arrived on Saturday.
Thanks to the folks at SCTA-BNI.
-
The corn cobs were from Jonny Hotnuts, he got them on E-bay, freud said to send them to Bob. So it's hot nuts as the originator.
-
Maybe we should have corn on the cob at salt talks, then we could send Bob home with a years supply...
That and my book arrived, they made it to Kansas, whoopee  I'll check to see if Dorthy and Toto got theirs yet
-
Hmm so I'm guessing another week or so for my rule book to make it all the way to Virginia? :-D

I'm betting by Friday 8-)
-
Columbus Ohio Monday and Tuesday. Paula's Book came on Monday, Mine on Tuesday, go figure.
-
Interesting, Mike, 'cause our two books came in one plastic wrapper -- so only one thing got mailed.
-
I tried ordering online but had a problem with the ordering. Is there a daytime phone I can call and order a couple of these new rule books?

Yeah, really, I wasn't here when they came but Paula opened hers, had to look and see the printed record. Mine is still in the plastic, Maybe in 50 years one of the heirs will sell it on e-bay as a unopened virgin copy addressed to a LSR Legend! maybe get $5.
-
So, am I the only one that STILL hasn't received my rulebook? :?
-
Todd has it.
-

Funny! He has his own. He's had his for months. :( I get my stuff shipped to the house so he doesn't steal it. :|
