As I'm preparing my Monte Carlo for the 130 (and then likely the 150) Club, I'm looking at tires and I see that some people have run Goodyear Frontrunners in the 150...but are they also legal for the 130 Club?
I'd like to run 'em on narrow 15" steel rims, 28" in the rear and 23s or 25s in the front.
I'd sure appreciate any help on this.

As long as you have an H rated or better for the 130, your good. For the 150 you need W rated or better. The front runners are good over 200, so better is good to go. :-)

Hey Ray I saw Gary Spencer has 4 for sale on KSL.com in the race cars section. I'm not sure of the height, but all 4 for $250.00. He is Leadfoot on here. Might be worth a shot.

Ray;
I forgot to add, that if you are using the front runners, make sure you have a set of regular wheels and tires for the road. I don't put my race wheels and tires on the Bad Banana till I hit the salt.

I ran M&H drag fronts for 130 and flew through inspection with no difficulties, except they suggested I take the air pressure up to 40 psi.

Just don't try to buy them directly from M&H - They'll ask why you're buying 4, and if the words "Land Speed Racing", "Bonneville", "Maxton" or "El Mirage" cross your lips, they won't sell them directly.
Summit doesn't ask such silly questions.

Sounds good. I'll check further. And I have zero intention of ever using 'em on asphalt...only on the salt.

They've been there a long time...I called last night and left a message...I'll try again today.
Thanks for the heads up.
