Title: Gary Brauer
Post by: mkilger on August 24, 2010, 12:53:27 PM: Many of you know Gary and his 716 fuel roadster, Gary is fighting cancer lets keep him on our minds. its all Garys fault that he took me to Bonneville and the love I have for it today. thanks Gary

Post by: johnbeck on September 03, 2010, 12:21:59 AM: Gary is a true icon of the sport. He has set more records with his red roadster than anyone else that I know of. Spent some time with him in the last few days and he is fading fast.
Gods speed to Gary Brauer and family, they are some of the best people to ever set foot on the salt, or on any other peice of the earth for that matter.

Gary Brauer passed away this morning (9/20) surrounded by his family. Services celebrating his life will be held this Friday 9/24 at the Immanuel Baptist Church, 28355 East Base Line, Highland, CA 92346. Ph: 909-425-1083. A viewing will be held from 8:30am – 10:30am and the Service will begin at 11am.

Whether racing the drags, sand , Elmo or Bonneville he never did it with anything but CLASS!

Gary stories will probably go around for a long time to come.

His roadster that he and his son ran was something to be proud of. Gary, you did good and was a great part of LSR. God Speed my friend. :-(
