Jeff McLean is a fellow motorcycle ECTA racer and many of you know him as the rider of the yellow Nitrous CBR600. His cousin Jamie races as well on a nitrous Busa. Jeff called me tonight and advised that his wife has been sick for 10 days and so far the doctors at the local hospital have been unable to pinpoint a cause. As of tonight (Tuesday June 29th) she is in route to Wake Forrest NC to their hospital to see if they can find out what is wrong with her. He called me tonight and asked me to post something and to ask you all to pray for his wife. I am going to post this on Land Racing as well but if you know another site that Jeff posts are please feel free to post it there also.
Thanks
Don

Good news everyone !! After a lot of dealing with the local hospital she was moved to Wake Forrest in NC and they whipped her back into shape in a few days. Jeff said they met with 16 different Drs etc in the first day. They did an internal sonogram and found a gall stone blocking a duct to her gall bladder and then the next day they removed the gall bladder via that surgery where they put in probes and suck it out basically.
The next day she was better and is now back at home doing well !!
Thanks again everyone for your prayers.

My wife went through it a couple of months ago, darn rough to go through it. It took three doctors before they found out the problem.

very good news about Jeffs wife.... bummer that it took 16 doctors 10+days to figger out what was wrong.... in the good old days a doctor could clean yer carb change yer plugs and get ya back on the road in no time....modern medicine is nothing more than pills and misdiagnosis.... I had a Gall stone attack a couple of years ago while visiting Florida... Cat scans, MRI's, tones of blood tests, i finally left after 20hrs of crap.... came home to more tests and an ultimate diagnosis.... pretty painful.....

:-D Don't care what anybody else thinks.....PRAYER works. Good to hear your wife is doing better! Crow.

Crow,
I agree with you that prayers work, not only for the patient but for the doctors involved as well.
Great to hear that her problem was found and treated and she is now recovering. Prayers for a speedy recovery.
