Title: New US Racing Venue - 2010
Post by: Malcolm UK on October 14, 2009, 10:55:00 AM
MKM Racing promotions are organising two events in 2010.  The first on March 6th 2010 is the "Mojave Mile Shootout".  A private 12,000 ft runway is available at the air and space port facility.  Land speed racing for those on the west of the USA who have not worked on concrete/asphalt and who want to get their vehicles ready for later in the year.

Go to the www.openroadracing.com website for the details that are available so far.  They are expecting to have a separate website up and running later this month at www.mojavemile.com

With traction and, I'm hoping, smooth pavement, wouldn't the main problem be stopping in "only" 7000'?  I mean get Fast Freddy out there with his Top Fuel dragster wannabe and he'd probably run 400+ with the improved traction.
