Who will be at the October 25th meet at El Mirage?
-
I will be there Saturday, and I have to put the balloons out on Sunday morning.
Tom G.
-
I'll be in the announcers booth.
79 cars and 37 bikes . . . Last year.
Meet was called due to high winds . . . The year before. There were about 3 hours of runs before the meet was called.
And I think 2006 got rained out. Rain in the forecast for the next couple of days.
-
We will be there with the modified roadster, unless the weather has anything to do about it.
-
lets hope it gets the much needed rain. its needs the rain more than it needs race cars on it :-P
-
Was there any significant rain on the Lakebed from the storm that came through LA yesterday?
I checked the SCTA weather site and didn't see anything.

What time did they start racing again? I left at 11. No A/C in my truck and was tired of getting sand blasted.
-
We got two runs in after they started back up I guess it was about 12.
Thanks out to all the event workers for another excellent event! Can't do much about the weather, but everything I saw ran very smooth in spite of the wind.
