Title: Which run is used to figure your points?
Post by: RIFLEMAN on September 17, 2009, 11:22:53 PM
Hey all, glad to be running again despite the 'problems' with the new bodywork. Heres my question: I made 2 runs. One around 155 another a dismal 122-ish when the wind kicked up and the tire wasn't hooking up at all.
I went to the result page and it shows the 122 as my race result. I thought that your highest speed was your result? Am I right and who do I contact to correct the error if I am? I know its not a lot of points to me personally(this is the first time I've raced in a year and a half)but the club can use the extra points.
 Thanks in advance!

2. Calculation of Meet Points - Meet points shall be determined as follows:
a)
Highest Speed(s)
Each entrant’s highest speed (in the event of multiple runs) and shall be divided by the current SCTA record or minimum speed set by SCTA in the entrant’s class, then multiplied by two hundred (200), thereby determining the total number of points earned for that meet.

Well, went to the 'contact us' page and Mr. Safarik wasn't listed so I sent a message to Dan Warner, looks like he should be able to help.
 Thanks.
