What is this "street application" that you speak of..?

I would contact one of the many cam manufactuers and ask one of them. In my V-8 days all my cams came from the Chevy dealers. My cam of choice was the "30-30" solid lifter when using a 4-speed. Hey it was the 60's................Good Luck

Yeah JD, Just for fun one day I put the 30-30 spec's into my engine computer program. It laughed at me and said " we've come a long way baby "
-
Kicked a lot of A*ss 45+ years ago with a 30-30!
-
Funny you guys brought up the 30-30. That was my first thought when I saw the first post. Definitely old school with outdated specs but they sure sounded cool. Ran a few myself in the 70's.

I would call comp cams myself but with that much compression on the street you might have to run a lot of duration to keep the low speed compression and knock down '' less effective compression''
Good luck JL222

Get this..I still have a new one. 30-30 that is. As a side note, if you have power brakes tell the cam co. 12-1 will be tough to keep from rattling on the street with out good gas.....once again good luck
