It's been a long time since I had a 60's/70's chevy but I think a camaro or chevell of the same era might work.

If you do a search for "Nova Parts" on google you should find some stuff, places like Classic Industries would have them I think. Like thundersalt said a Camaro or Chevell from that time might work, the Camaro has a different type of suspension in the front and didn't debut until '67, but I would imagine GM would keep things like the spindles and brakes pretty similar. If that's true and your looking for higher performance than there are a ton of high performance brake systems designed for the Camaro. Good luck with your search.

I already know that a mid sixties camero or chevelle will work but, have you tried to find one of those lately? I wanted to know if a cutless or caprice might work? they are a dime a dozen. If they have the same ball joints they should work, right?
thnx for your time.

Most good salvage yards have a cross reference manual that will tell you what parts are common to different makes

If the Camaro spindles will work, GM made an off road spindle for their racers that lowered the car and you were able to run Corvette 4-piston calipers.  They use to be plentiful years back but like all things vintage have started to dry up.  The last few times at the Turlock swap meet I have seen at least a few sets for sale  or if you can get a hold Oftendahl or Gene Felton they used have many sets on the shelf.  The GM part number is 3883487LH and RH.  Tony

Or you could graft the larger car ball joints into the a-arms.

Fatman Fab http://fatmanfab.com/catalogpage.php?page=33 (http://fatmanfab.com/catalogpage.php?page=33) makes 2" dropped spindles for $399 that use '88-'92 Camaro 12" rotors & '70-'78 Camaro calipers.
