I was looking for some guidance on installing window clips. Does anybody make them? Can you install them under the windshield moulding? How many are required? Can you just pop rivet them in place? Do they effect your airflow? I will be running a Jeep Comanche.

You are going to want to mount them from the roof down to the windshield from the cowl up to the windshield.
I have seen 4,5 and 6.

Look in the build section and there are some pictures of clips and roof rails. I don't think pop rivits are acceptable for mounting

I put on four. I used .125 thick aluminum about 2" x 3". I padded them with thin cork and bent them to match the contour to avoid cracking the glass.
But to get real... On later cars and trucks, the front and back glass is glued to the body with high strength silicone glue. It will not "push" out, it shatters. You have to cut the glue to get the glass out.

As McRat says, be sure to put cork or rubber under them. I found out the hard way, and they don't let you run with a cracked windshield..................Bob

Do you have to have them if you have a lexan windshield that is bolded in?
-
Yeah Bob D. when you told them it was a bifocal line on a prescription windshield they had a meeting and said it wasn't in the rule book and put you on the trailer.
