Thanks for the link,had a look in the Automotive section,and there is an article about the Harlen Fengler 300 mph LSR car with two triple eight engines ( Jan 1931).
Does any one know if it ever run and how did it do?.

It appears to be the Sunbeam that Mayf is running against. Golden Arrow 231.446 in 1929 if that's the car
