If you had more time - Vortec 4200, sidedraft carbs and header would be easy to fab up.  Just need a crank trigger system and off you go - Maybe a little over 300HP?

I dont think my car will make it April.. I will be there to meet everyone and help.. I posted a few pics on other post... The cage is being mocked up this week.. The Crank and Heads are not due in until late March and the hood and radiator middle of March... I was sure trying but back orders and slow fab work is killing me.. Looks like May for my cars first run..

Oh well, see you all in April.

Now Deb and Sum,

I would love to cruise in the 36 for the April meet... but really how can I get it on the grounds?  Is the entry road paved now?  This little yellow she-beast will never see dirt or gravel road ( unless no other choice )... I may bring the Orange 39 Chevy Coupe...  Not sure,,, now  Deb, if you can get ma a paved way into the track, you can have first ride :)

Deb,  I would love to bring the yellow roadster but to be honest there ain't no way I would take it ona dirt or gravel road.  If the weather is nice and the road dry and if my 33Vicky LSR is not done (it don't look like it will be ready to race in April)  then YES  I will be driving the Orange Chevy.  I hope my other Hot Rod friends will bring there cars too!

Heck, I just remembered,,, since I am and ECTA member and the Chevy is street legal and has 3 point seat belts.. I guess I could run it in TO or Real Street just for fun and to get my rookie pass out of the way?

(as long as I keep it under 125 mph)

Wow  sounds like a plan...

Charles, You do awsome work. Very inspiring.

We have Kent on the left coast. He paints his stuff on the way to bonneville. Something about better aero when it cures at 75 down the interstate...

Love ya Kent.
