Title: Conditions at El Mirage?

I have heard the lake bed has dried out since the rain, but was curious how is the course after the rain? Is it better or worse?

Word posted on the SCTA website following Course Prep on Saturday, Sept 8, is that the course is dry, smooth and hard. Also, for those coming to El Mirage via Cajon Pass (I-15), Hwy 138 is open again from I-15 to Sheep Creek Rd. (turn off to El Mirage via Phelan). Weather forecast is for temps in the low 90's, 12 to 14mph southwest winds and  clear to partly cloudy. Looks like it is shaping up to be a great weekend!
