The Bonneville Vintage GP has dovetailed into the BUB International Motorcycle Speed Trials to become one of the most unique and exciting motorcycle weeks in the world. BUB will run AHRMA class vintage motorcycle classes for us on the salt. From there we move 90 miles east (a little over an hour away at 75 mph on I-80) to the $100 million dollar Miller Motorsports Park-the newest and largest racetrack in North America located in Tooele, Utah. Included is the Motorcycle Classics Magazine Concour d'Elegance in the Miller Motor Museum. You will see a huge variety of vintage and modern bikes racing including hand shift Indians and Harleys, Matchless G50s, Norton Manxes, & Vincents along with every brand imaginable. New this year will be Formula 1 & 2 and vintage sidecars. Vendors, swapmeet, CB160 Racebike Raffle, LeMans Start CB160 Race. Info at: www.bonnevillevintagegp.com (http://www.bonnevillevintagegp.com)

Talking to some of our roadracing sidecar brothers........they are planning to make a run down the salt prior to the roadrace at Miller.
It will be very interesting to see how fast these slick roadrace sidecars go......they do have good Aero much like a Formula car........the C.C. limit is 1000c.c. for them.

The adaptation of legitimate road racing sidecars to LSR is a lot more tasteful than the MC with a wheel on a stick that is such a bastardisation of the sport.
Abuse will follow and it has.

Thanks Kent. So far with one successful Bonneville Vintage GP under our belts-this one should be a little easier to put on. Miller has put in an additional $17 million into the facility since last year ($83 million) including more shaded grandstands and for those staying in the pits-additional showers plus planted over 300 fast growing drought tolerant shade trees. They already have tickets for the Bonneville Vintage GP on sale at ticketmaster ($10.00) which allows you grandstand seating and access to the pits. We look forward to working with BUB and the combination of these
two events a little over an hour away from each other will make one heck if a great motorcycle week.

Each and every year the BUB gets bigger and better.......It is my understanding that for 2007 there will be 2 courses........1 for the liners and fast people...........and 1 for the slow people like me.........
should allow for more runs!!!!!!!!!!
With addition of the Vintage Roadracers it will be a great speed trial for motorcycles. See ya there!!!
