Title: WARNING MAY 5TH COMING SOON!
Post by: SPDRACR on March 30, 2007, 07:22:51 PM
Do not want to alarm anyone BUT El Mirage is only four weekends away. I'm not even close to being ready how about any one else? Just thought I would throw this little reminder out there. Keep on working away because just one pass down that dirt is all worth it !!!  Will see you all there on Friday. can't wait.     ERIC

I'm planning on the trip down, doing a dyno tuning session on 28 April, leaving here the 2nd of May.  Only have to find out what to use on the windows as a safety film and we should be ready to go.

Hey Eric,

It's closer to 5 weeks, actually 34 days to Friday check-in, but who's counting ........well, actually I am.
I had to divide the "To Do" list into those items needed for El Mirage and those for Bonneville.

Well this layer of fiberglass should be set, so back to work.

Looks like there has only been 1" of rain in the Palmdale area so it will be interesting to see the lakebed condition. Might be a long season.

Hi Glen,

Everything's on schedule. When it comes to crunch time primer is just as good as paint. Perhaps I should find another term than "crunch time", just sounds BAD.

Since you used the term CRUNCH TIME it now has additional meaning to Barrett.
He survived CRUNCH TIME and is now in primer.
I'll bet he's pissin' and moaning knowing that he won't be at this 2007 opener.

Oh good grief Glen, it's just a plumbing job! The baling wire and duct tape they used to glue you back together should hold up just fine! Come on out!
