I have been reading through the bub site and need some questions answered
As an international visitor you are still required to join the AMA ?
I will have to submit all the paper work from my countries FIM affiliate and send to who? bub ? AMA ? FIM United States ? santa claus?
when are the dead lines for registration 2007?
I can find links to the records but not the rules where do these reside ?

The FIM affiliate in your country should handle all of the required paper work for you to get it all set up.
That is part of the service they signed up for and owe you.

No, I don't mean that I can't READ them -- they're in English. I can't figure out this and that, that's all. I've got 'em all as PDF's on the desktop of the 'puter -- I just don't know how to inerpret how they apply to my bikes, my class(es), etc. That's why I want to chat with someone that's been down this road -- once I hear what the rule really means -- then I'm okay. I just gotta learn this new set of rules, that's all.
So my naked 1350 nitrous bike will be Category 1 Div.A Type 1 Class 11, right, and when I put the bodywork on it'll change to Cat. A1 Div B Type 1 Class 11? Have I got it right?

From what I gather lets take JonW bike.
Kawasaki ZX12R With Body work 1350cc Fuel (nitrous)
First a few variables, There is NO distinction between Cat I and Cat II for short distance records (Flying mile and flying kilo), second there is no disctinction between fuel and gas.
Group A1 - Solo Motorcycle making one track
Division B - Partial Streamlined
Type I - Internal Combustion, Spark Ignition, Naturally Aspirated
Class 11 - 1000cc-1350cc
So JonW had it right in his note. I was just clarify on each part of it for the reader.
Take the body work off still the same but Division
Group A1 - Solo Motorcycle making one track
Division A - Non Streamlined
Type I - Internal Combustion, Spark Ignition, Naturally Aspirated
Class 11 - 1000cc-1350cc

Thanks, Jon, for the 2006 update - didn't knew that there was a update, due to this that there is nothing new since the 2005.
But the list shows that the FIM still confusing himself.....the 50 cc Hubert record is a streamlined bike record, he broke the record from Kreidler from 1965 - and if he didn't count as a streamliner than the bike had to be into the categorie B for partial streamlined - which woud be a joke if you look on the bike... :|
