This was purchased as a complete car missing the engine and trans about 8 years ago. We had it inspected and it met current roll cage standards at that time which called for 2 inch seamless .125 wall tubing. They had us add gussets to the cage and also enclose the cockpit which we did with aluminum panels. The main frame is 2?x4? tube and it?s all very nicely done and square. The body is ?race car good?, in other words it?s not show quality but typical nice quality at Bonneville considering the panels are mounted and dismounted all the time. The basic car shell is straight with a few imperfections and the fabricated nose and other body panels are nicely done. We set it up for a Triumph Rocket III engine and transmission. Pretty specialized obviously, but of course any new engine can be fitted. It has a four link rear with a GM 10 bolt rear axle. It has a 4 link front suspension with a tubular axle. Lots of time into a tidy frame and cage, cockpit closout, and body with very nice chop. Comes with many parts including the chute, at least part of the coolant system, fuel tank, seat, steering, etc. I have extensive photos. Car located in Oregon, I can arrange shipping or trailer to you if in the West. Matt 503-880-2558

Will the Rocket 3 be naturally aspirated or turbo or blown?
-
I really like the looks of this little car. Pure hot rod. If I wasn?t so deep in mine, I would go for it.

Not sure if I have the name quite right but was this Jay Storey's coupe from back in the 90's? I think it ran a quad 4 engine.
Sid.

Jay Storrer We gave him the number 442 which we had at the time.

Wondering if this car is still for sale?
If so- could you give me the dimensions of the engine bay?
Are additional pictures available?
Thnx in advance.

the OP has since sold the car, does anyone know where it ended up?
-
Anybody remember the magazine that ran a series on a Bonneville project like this car?
-
I am resurrecting this thread with a question, is this car currently running or has it been relegated to storage? If for sale, I have an interest.

Car has not run in years, would probably need major updates

Might be just the thing I am looking for. Any idea where it is and who owns it?
