Need some help with a driveshaft.
The gentleman that we used forever died the end of last year and I need a very special shaft designed.
Looking to have total length 72-76 inches 1350 on one end and 2-2-899 PTO on the other.
I am sure it will have to be a two piece.
Who do I need to call?

Shaky @ 72+" is the max anyone will make as far as I know is 72" and in a LSR vehicle that might be pushing it as it could see way more RPM than a standard vehicle.

Driveshaft that length regardless of material or size is going to have a very low critical speed. I have lost a driveshaft at a relatively low speed at Bonneville and it is not fun. Broke the back off the motor, the trans and the differential as well as doubled the size of the tunnel and took out the seat belt mounts. Lucky didn't break my Acura as well. Be sure to talk to an expert and a two piece is likely to be mandatory. (unless you are running a very low speed diesel....)

We ran a 2 piece shaft from inland empire on the Sonoma. It was a very nice piece.

I got a two piece from Inland.
We will find out how it does, but it looks great.
