Forget the fashion mage, I love the tech pages, especially from the NASA crowd. As soon as I saw how this simple, reusable part worked I wondered why it too so long to be invented. Brilliant. GREAT short video on the website.
And that you can achieve max lock with only your fingers, that's pretty incredible.

The video was better than their cross sectional diagram which showed a tapered fit into the threads, but clearly the device presents a squared off face to the threads.

I noticed that all the devices are coarse thread- no UNF threads.

They say "ask about other thread sizes"- I wonder about SAE fine threads?

Interesting stuff. Thank you for posting . . . but (!) . . . people should investigate whether the rules of the racing organization
permit use of these things (instead of safety wiring), before neglecting to use safety wire. Yes, I know that rules evolve.
