Although many racers and rodders recently got to hang out and commiserate with Don at the Grand National Roadster Show, Don has crossed the finish line.

While we won't get to chat with him directly, his fabulous book publishing legacy remains a vibrant, inspiring part of the dry lakes racing community. Don was inducted into the Dry Lakes Racing Hall of Fame in 2000
