Title: 2019 Rule Changes

The 2019 rule changes are posted on the SCTA website.
I see that the "gas only" requirement for Modified pickup and Modified Mini pick up has been deleted. Does anyone have any more info on this?
There does not appear to be any additions in the class headings, like other classes, listing fuel or gas, will this mean that you have the option to run fuel or gas in the same class (does not seem likely) or will there now be separate fuel and gas classes? E.G. F/BMP & G/BMP, F/MP & G/MP

I didn't look at the website but, all previous classes remain with the addition of fuel pickup classes i.e. /BFMP, /FMP, /BFMMP, /FMMP. If the  website  is different contact the truck committee in section 16 of your rulebook.

Thanks, I thought that was how it would play out.
I doubt I'll be ready to run anything other than gas by August, so I didn't want to bother Jim with this question. I'm trying not bother him with every one of my dumb questions.   :-D

   Dan,,, i sent in a petition for a rule change in comp coup. '' Eliminating sentence ...The lowest portion of the wing
  shall be at least 6 inches above the highest point of the body''

  Side effects?  allows builders to mount wings in conventional manner.

  Nothing else was changed in rule, if someone wanted to mount a wing 6 inches above the body they still could.

   Was this voted on?

  Dan Warner,  Can you tell me what the 2 Club min would be for
 F/BMMP on Fuel ?  I know the Gas Min is 205mph

 with the new rule change it is not listed on the website car minimums

My guess that is a future discussion for the board.  I'll bet some of them already have an idea of where it should be but I'll say there is some board discussion to follow

We corresponded about the 2 club minimum for your new truck(210 mph). Please remember that there are no minimums for new classes at Bonneville, only the 2 club and El Mirage.

Nobody has said anything - so I will start it.  Our rulebooks arrived in the mail a few days ago.  Are we lucky/early - or has everybody got 'em, and just not said anything?
