that little liner is a sweet looking ride. I wonder how many projects like this there are sitting in garages 90% finished and never get to the salt?
-
anybody see a 4th wheel on the little liner? Hey I think the FIM has a 3 wheeler class...
-
I wondered about that too or maybe it is set up like a dually with two wheels on one hub.
Sid.

Nice Little Linner but like stainless mentioned no SCTA class for a 3 wheeler and if there are 2 tires right next to each other that won't pass tech (Jack found this out on 7070). A few other problems will be visibility with that steep windshield and the front tires won't live at the speeds necessary to set a record.

It's begging to be a lakester.
-
sorta makes one wonder :?
-
It must be a 3 wheel MC liner. 1 rear drive wheel and the MC steering handle bar set up.Nice build But SCTA - BNI dropped 3 wheel trikes years ago due to no interest.
-
It's marked "J/BFS". I sent the seller a question about the obvious "3-wheel" discrepancy.
-
I can see a possible reason the "car" is unfinished and for sale. Uncertainty if there's a class that'll fit the car has ended more than a few builds.
-
The seller answered my question by explaining that "There is a 4th wheel designed into the car. It is immediately behind the large rear wheel, but not in place for the photos. I designed the car that way so that I could run more than one class. SCTA rules not only require four wheels for a car, they also require that two of the wheels be driven. There is provision for driving the 4th wheel as well. Hope that helps."
He also provided some contact information.
Anyway, that sounds like a pretty good answer

Similar solution for a skinny behind - trailing wheel "driven" by JD lawn mower deck belt! :-o :-D
-
Looks like it sold for $6995.00!
-
Not surprised, that was cheeeeap!
Sid.
-
That is cheap - but it's such a limited marketplace.
I'll have that tied up in my short block, and will be lucky to go half as fast.
Of course, I often do things half fast . . .
-
I used to half a$$ stuff too but now I just full a$$ everything. :-D
