  I have even called the day before Speedweek started when I was getting bent over by a transmission shop in LaGrande, Oregon and they sold it for Me.

I'm gonna jump in and make a disclaimer that I think is correct:

JoAnn (or anybody SCTA/BNI) can't sell your pre-entry for you and can't sell you the pre- that someone else has for sale.  She/they CAN "facilitate" the transaction -- point you towards the dude trying to sell his, so to speak -- and it's up to the two individuals to make any arrangements.  They also have to report the "deal" to registration to make sure the paperwork is followed correctly.

I think I've got it right.  No doubt I'll be corrected if I ain't. . . :roll:

If anyone that is unfortunately not going to be able to make it to Speedweek and would like to get there money back on there pre entry I would be glad to help you out.
