Title: FIM Classifications
Post by: clayd on March 03, 2016, 11:04:24 AM
First off thanks everyone for all the help in my last post.

I am trying to find how the classes break out for the FIM records and am running into a bit of an issue.  If someone could point me in the right direction I would greatly appropriate it.

The FIM website has 'lost' most of the information on World Records (rules and speed records) since a re-design took place.

The AMA should be able to assist as they are the USA representatives for the FIM. However if that does not work, try Charles Hennekam of the FIA technical commission, who has been the FIM delegate at most of the outright speed bids and class bids held in the USA over three decades. charles.hennekam@fim.ch

Not sure if any of my historical information will help, but have you a two wheel machine you wish to classify?
